HMCG SSC SUCCESS STORY
Sonika
From uncertain beginnings to a career in care
Hello everyone! My name is Sonika, and I’m proud to share my journey with you.
Before joining the Elderly Care Companion Training Program offered by GKITR Kathua under HMCG SSC, I was uncertain about my career path. The training helped me grow in confidence, improve communication and strengthen problem-solving through practical, hands-on learning.
After completing the program, I received placement support and was selected by Paras Hospital, where I now work as a Care Giver / General Duty Assistant. Today I’m financially independent and able to support my family.
“It’s not just training — it’s a first step toward a brighter, more empowered future.”
